Best Time to Visit Daman

Its locational advantage and the mild pleasant climate throughout the year make Daman one of the most sought after tourist destinations in India. From March to May, the climate in Daman is quite hot, with temperatures soaring as high as 37°C in the month of May. Monsoons last from June to September, with moderate to heavy showers. The city of Daman looks splendid and beautiful amidst the rains. From November to February, Daman enjoys a mild and pleasant winter, with cool breeze blowing from the sea. How to Reach Daman ?

Daman being an important tourist hub in India, is well connected to various major Indian cities. Mumbai, about 170 kilometres away, is the nearest major domestic and international airport. Regular flights are available to various cities from Mumbai. Vapi Station, about 12 kilometres away, is the nearest railway station, connecting Daman to major cities like Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Hyderabad etc. Daman is well connected to nearby cities via the NH 8. Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation (GSRTC) run buses and other private buses and taxis can be availed to easily reach Daman.
